About me
I
have over 20 years' experience of working with people with emotional
and psychological difficulties.
I have worked for statutory and voluntary organisations.
My training is in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with the
Institute
of
Psychotherapy
and Social Studies (IPSS),
London (www.ipss-psychotherapy.org).
I
have experience of working with people with a wide range of problems,
including depression, anxiety, stress, compulsive thoughts, childhood
trauma (such as sexual abuse), self-harm, problems around sex or sexuality, fears,
loss and bereavement.
I
am committed to providing a high standard of confidential therapy and my
own continued professional development. I have had my own therapy and I
have regular clinical supervision.
I
adhere to the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy's (UKCP)
Code of Ethics and Code of Practice.
